Panvaree Resort is located on Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchaprapha Dam), Surat Thani — one of Thailand’s most stunning natural attractions, surrounded by limestone mountains, emerald waters, and peaceful scenery.
How to Get Here
1. By Air
Fly from Bangkok (Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi Airport) to Surat Thani Airport (URT) — about 1 hr 15 min.
Then take a private transfer or taxi to Ratchaprapha Dam Pier, approximately 1 hour away.
2. By Car

Bangkok → Cheow Lan Lake: ~9–10 hrs drive (750 km)

Phuket → Cheow Lan Lake: ~3.5 hrs

Khao Sok → Cheow Lan Lake: ~1 hr
3. By Train
Take a train from Bangkok to Surat Thani (Phunphin Station), then transfer by car to Ratchaprapha Pier (about 1 hr).
Join Boat Transfer
From the pier, the resort provides a longtail boat transfer to Panvaree Resort — about 40–50 minutes across the scenic emerald lake surrounded by limestone cliffs.
Boarding time is 11.30 a.m. It is recommended to arrive at Ban Chiew Lan pier by 11 a.m.
We only have one free scheduled boat trip per day to pick up customers. The boat leaves the pier at 11.30 a.m.
If you aren't able to make this I can arrange the boat to bring you to our resort that will cost 2000 Baht.
Travel Tips

Bring personal essentials, medication, and a light rain jacket during the wet season.

Avoid traveling after 3:00 PM due to changing water conditions and limited sunlight.

For guests seeking flexibility and exclusivity, Panvaree Resort offers Private Longtail Boat Transfers available throughout the day (depending on water and weather conditions).
Ideal for honeymooners, families, or VIP travelers who prefer to travel privately at their own time.
